I received a mail from a friend today, reminding me of an important issue about God's visitation to us in this generation. Going through it, I was really touched and decided to share it with everyone here.
A Great Visitation

The Spirit of God was heavy on our 11-year-old daughter, Destiny, when she came to us and said,"Mom and Dad, God just spoke to me and told me to come and tell you something." She really caught our attention because giving us words from the Lord is not something she normally does. She was trembling slightly, and we all felt the presence of God as she shared a vision she had had of a great harvest and told us what God had instructed her to say:
"Prepare your fields for rain, for I am coming!"
This was a very meaningful word to us not only because it was delivered through our precious daughter (fulfillment of Joel 2:28) but also because it reminded us of a prophecy we received two years ago that we titled "A Great Visitation."
We believe God wants us to share "A Great Visitation" once again. Our hearts are stirred today as never before with a sense of urgency for the church to prepare, to make itself ready for this Great Visitation and the coming of His glory (see Is. 40:5).
God instructed us at the beginning of the year to wake up His church, to shake up His people. It is time for the church to awaken from complacency and slumber! It is time to prepare, just as this word says.
Remember, this Great Visitation—His glory—is not coming to entertain us or to make us feel good, but to transform us. It will be a time of great change in the church—a time to set His house in order; a time of great cleansing, purifying, unifying and making ready the bride of Christ to rise up and be glorious in the earth. It will be a season of being prepared for His great end-time work—to bring in the harvest of souls—as well as for His return.
Below is the prophecy "A Great Visitation" God gave us during a time of deep intercession for the church. We pray it brings encouragement and also a sense of urgency about what is coming as this new decade unfolds.

FRAGILE HEART
Woman,
What a tender, fidel heart she has gotten;
So fragile that should be handled with great care.
It may be irreparably broken when jilted or slighted;
Shattered when dropped and irreplaceably destroyed
When disconnected from her Maker (God).
Therefore, watch your words when you converse with her;
Watch your steps as you approach to knock the door to her heart.
Just a simple and polite “ko ko ko” will do,
Not the big slam type – “gba gba gba sh.”
Always confide in her,
She will keep the secret for life;
Talk to her with high morale and respect,
She will definitely reciprocate.
Love her passionately,
She will respond with true love going extra mile
Just to please you.
Bless her pleasantly,
She will bless the world for your sake.
Treat her like a princess of the Island or Cinderella,
She has the strength to bring out the hero and king inside of you.
Always be sincere, telling her the truth,
Nothing but the truth;
You will be shocked to earn her absolute trust without any ado.
What a fragile heart she has gotten!
Don’t start with her in courtship
What you may never continue in marriage.
Always take caution to avoid hurting her;
And when you do unavoidably,
Learn to quickly say politely and sincerely, “I’m sorry.”
You know what!
Always remember to acknowledge her.
Each time you reach out to her-

Always tell her how much you love her.

WAIT...JUST WAIT!
Can u imagine the level of devastation a man can feel when he's forsaken and denied by the only woman he trusted and ever loved?
The woman...she deliberately cut off all communication networks; and decided to follow the wishie talkies of her friends and pressing folks.
The man...tenaciously sought the face of God like one who needed an extension of life on earth...Utterly surprised as the Latter resoundedly answered him with an instruction to WAIT.
For how long? He doesnt know...doing what? He will instruct further later...
The man...Summoned absolute obedience from the North to the South, East to the West and WAITED...
So long thereafter, he came to understand that he needed to wait for VINDICATION...
How this will happen...cant just figure...but strongly believes that He said it...He will do it...
The woman...faced hell...like someone passing through God's testing wilderness...experienced all sorts of desertation...emptiness...loneliness...unfulfilment...resulted to her taking a grudging decision to return against all odds and seek forgiveness and a second chance...
The man...this caught him unawares...cant imagine that God could just make it happen just like that...
The woman...returned...confessing that she was misled and wrongly influenced by hommie pressures and buddies talks and pieces of advice...how foolish she was to have danced to the tunes of all these incoherent drums...
The man...so passionate about his love for her...forgave her...accepted her...draw her into the warmth of his embrace for God to draw the duo into Himself...
The man...it dawned on him that the essence of the WAITING is that God wanted to lay him on the stretcher in His Intensive Care Unit to perfect His will in their lives...as such to ensure that he retains his love for her...
Can you JUST WAIT! There, yes there! He knows what you are passing through...feels what you are feeling...cares about you so much than you can ever imagine...Why cant you JUST WAIT! and see the salvation (rescue) of God?

WORD OF PROPHECY ABOUT THE COMING REVIVAL OF LOVE
2 PETER 1:19; PSALMS 110:3
“Lukewarmness”, “Shallowness”, “Worldliness”, and “Unwillingness” have consumed the heart of My people. My Truth has been subverted by Agnosticism, Revelation displaced by Reasoning and Spiritual fervor and hunger replaced by Nominalism and Syncretism.
They have become lovers of (the spirit) “Money”, “Man” (themselves), “Matches” (Sports), “Media” (movies, entertainment, fashion and style, internet surfing), “Music”, “Magazine” (ungodly books), “Mantles” (positions), “Materialism” (human Materials – essentialism of physical objects rather than the mind or Spirit), “Medals” (Awards and Rewards) and “Myths” (errotism, fallacies, fables, coarse jokes, comedy).
They have abandoned the faith that was once delivered unto them and now giving up to all forms of deceits and pleasurable pseudo-truths. They have forsaken their first Love. They no longer have time with Me; My Presence has become so boring to them that they no longer earnestly seek Me daily, but rather seasonal when they think I am needed. They passionately pursue mundanity (mundane things) which has no eternal value with Me.
Oh! Come and see how much this generation has successfully surpassed the formers in evil deeds, corruption, abomination, wickedness and provocative sins.
I call you to come and see how My people have swayed and derailed away from Me. They have neglected their Source of life; the Air they breath; the Hope of life now and life to come; the All-Consuming Fire.
I am a jealous God as such that I am about to visit them. I will revisit My founding commission. I will visit them once again because I can no longer keep looking down from Heaven upon them, beholding their abominable sins and atrocities. The fate of the (coming) next generation is in malady and jeopardy.
I am coming to consume all their sins and abominations. They will not be spared. I will pour out My wraths upon all the abominables.
I will visit to shake vehemently the whole heaven and earth. I will shake the world’s system. I will shake the foundations of the earth on which the world’s system puts its confidence and trust and thrives. I will once again declare My Name to the whole earth I created – “I am that I am”. I am God and there is none besides Me.
But will I not yet be merciful? My mercy will prevail over judgment. I will pour out My Spirit upon everyone and it will rekindle My Love in their hearts. I will rekindle the fire of My Love in them and it will consume them all that they will run with it to every Nation of the earth and set them ablaze for Me.
I will revive My Love, My work in their hearts. My fear will consume them once again. But for the sons of perdition; the strong-willed; the hard-hearted; the unrepentant sinners, I will utterly destroy in My wrath. Who can withstand My Voice? Who can confront My Awesome Presence?
How much I wish you tarry and eagerly wait, and desire passionately for this day; the time of My visitation? I can’t relent or repent of My words which I have spoken.
Agonize passionately and wait in prayers to provoke and hasten My visit. Even if you don’t I will come willy-nilly and I will not delay.
I will come and revive My Love in them, and heal their lands from all evils, abominations, wickedness and corruption. My peace I will restore to you.
Before there comes a generation who know Me not, I will raise for Myself a DOMINANT ARMY who will never break their ranks; the league of firebrands who have been plugged out of My refining and defining fire.
Through My Army, I will establish My throne among every tribes and tongues on earth. I will set them strategically to every sphere of the world’s system – politics, sports, music, fashion and style, entertainment, economies, socio-cultural sectors including homes and families, professional sectors, all established institutions including Churches and schools (from Tertiary to Primary). I will equip them. They will set everywhere on fire and I will establish My throne on earth.
Be Prepared!!!

THE PAINS AND GAINS OF NIGERIA: A REFLECTION AT 50 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE
In the heart of the terra-incognita tropical rainforest
Was rooted the grandest of all trees;
Nursed with great dreams, visions and hopes;
Accompanied by indispensable resolutions
Of a pursuit of surest realities.
The seasonless and unrelentful labours of our heroes past
Saw her breaking forth.
Through the early seasons of leadership rule
Were displays of her indomitable, alluring beauty,
Blossomed like a tree planted by the rivers of water
Bringing forth desirable fruits in due season;
With her flamboyant tentacles branching
From the north to the south and from the east to the west
Across the confluential rivers - Rivers Niger and Benue…
Long before remedy and prescriptions,
In season and out of season,
The luxuriant leaves of this tropical evergreen vine
Resoundedly fell apart painstakingly
Like an aborted baby – a shattered dream;
Like an angry torrential downpour
With its hypertensive thunderstorm.
The winter bugs and worms, cankerworm and spiteful pathogens
Have infested her with colossal wounds,
With insidious effects gangrene.
Causative organisms such as religious and ethnic intolerances, and crises;
Disharmony, egocentric dominance, political disparity;
Diverse inequalities, maimings, injustices, prejudices, hatred;
Corruption of esteem hierarchy, sclerotic economic miasma...
Defensively they invaded and polluted the great vine.
Some corrupted branches were grafted into her
Through restless, bloody and nefarious labours
Of the succeeding visionless uniform and non-uniform tenders.
What else will a corrupted vine bear –
Other than corruption, bribery, egocentricism, retrogression, social decay;
Depression, under-development, economic meltdown, pseudo beauty…
What a painful, heart-aching episode,
To see our scrupulous leaders trading our
Golden creeds for their greed,
Sowing seeds that may lead to division;
Seeds of corruption, hostility, hatred, prejudices...
That only God can permanently weed.
What a painful, heart-aching scene,
Like a congregation of people
Sobbing out their heart uncontrollably
For the demise of a cicero;
Or a mother that just lost her preemie;
Like an oak tree shedding thick, sticky tears profusely.
What a painful abortion of the founding dreams!
The founding dreams, visions and hopes that initialized her;
The painful cries from her differing parts
Resonate loudly through the woods seeking for a salvage.
Amidst all these,
From great and optimistic minds
Cognizant of the shattered past,
And ready to live above it;
With a passionate pursuit of rejuvenated dreams and visions;
Blossoms reality of unspeakable potentialities
Of incontestable beauty and great splendour.
Out of the pains that escribed eternity with hellish countenance
Emerge a convincing, unparallel, aromatic, indomitable, idyllic beauty.
A beauty symbolized by myriad of treasures;
Unquantifiable brilliance, greatness of entrepreneurial spirit;
Tolerable differences across ethnic groups, tribes, tongues and states;
A beauty of unimaginable, colossal and dynamic abilities
That makes her appear cinderellic;
That dispels blasts of the past from her heart.
A beauty which announces the dawn of a neo-Nigeria,
Dawn of a reality of hope.
The beauty of different tongues, tribes, cultures and people,
Like the tendering of the labyrinthine corridors;
Yet with a single vision, faith, dream;
One great and grandest voice that breaks cedars of Lebanon;
That enthrones her as the giant of Africa.
The beauty of the largest cluster of giant Negros
With oneness of understanding and commonality;
Living together in peaceful coexistence.
What a great beauty that needs to be discovered
As such to make our nation a better place to live in,
To realise the dreams of our founding fathers.
The discovery calls out to a duo, YOU and I;
You and I, to help discover and manifest her beauty,
The beauty of our great nation, Nigeria.
I BELIEVE IN NIGERIA...I BELIEVE IN HER DREAMS...I BELIEVE IN HER UNITY AND PEACE...
GOD BLESS NIGERIA! PEACE TO HER WALLS!! GROWTH TO HER LANDS!!!
